Our Way of Life on the Farm in South Tyrol
Fruit cultivation, viticulture, and our small animal husbandry—lots of work and happy faces shape our daily life.
Hofer Hof is located at 650 meters above sea level in Schrambach, a hamlet of Feldthurns. The Hofer Hof, as a wine estate, was first mentioned in writing as early as the 12th century. In 1999, the building was newly renovated, and in 2004, the first three cozy holiday apartments, Kerner, Sylvaner, and Traminer, were newly constructed and carefully adapted to the already existing historical structures of the farm. In 2010, the large Riesling holiday apartment with three separate bedrooms was added. Starting in July 2015, we offer our guests another large apartment, which provides a special sense of well-being thanks to its furnishings made of Swiss stone pine wood. New in 2024 is our barrel sauna, available to all guests, offering a unique relaxation experience amidst the South Tyrolean nature.
The centuries-old cellar rooms with their stone floors, numerous barrels, and the old wine press room (Torggel) invite you to taste our homemade wine and visit our on-site museum.
